Technology Overview
The product is primarily developed using Java platform.
DVR card is used for connecting cameras and to capture the video. This card is interfaced using C++ and integrated with recording server through JNI.
Video is stored as motion jpeg binary
Deployment Environment
User Interface - Portal is deployed on Windows XP running Java.
Tomcat is used to deploy the recording server.
IE browser is used to view & monitor the cameras.
MySQL is used for storing the activity and other non-video data.
